Paris Court – 5-star Hotel

Budapest, district 5, , Ferenciek square,
Hungary
Hotel and residance, Heritage
2019

The Paris Court and its interior passage is a true gem of Budapest, one of the largest ceramic-clad buildings in Europe. It was built in 1909 by the Downtown Savings Bank Ltd., based on Henrik Schmahl’s unique Art Nouveau plans, with Arabic, Moorish and Neo-Gothic features.

The Paris Court has been revived as a representative five star luxury hotel worthy of the building’s glorious past. On the ground floor and the mezzanine floor, which are connected to public spaces, the retail function was preserved.

From the lobby of the passage, the visitor can reach 108 rooms and suites on five floors via two elevators, or through a unique, ornate, double staircase.

Covering the courtyard created a cozy lounge level. The unparalleled panorama of the rooftop expansion provided an excellent opportunity for the Presidential Suite.
